Guess why a water fight was part of the staff retreat…

The staff retreat in June opened with program reps talking about highlights from the past year. At Canora, a highlight (or low light) was a pressurized pipe in the second floor sprinkler system bursting and flooding much of the second and first floor units. Of course this happened on a cold winter night. Here John Norton, Manager of Canora is replaying the trouble shooting with Paige Mann, Case Manager, adding a touch of watery realism to the experience. (Hmmm…does it seem like Paige is really enjoying playing the role of ‘sprinkler on the loose?)

Guess if jae was enjoying this burger …

Maybe Jae Juen-Jung, CAT Mental Health Therapist, was so focused on this burger to stay ahead of his co-worker, Richard Sanders, CAT Recovery Coach (see below) who looks like he’s already finished his. This was an obvious summer barbeque success at Canora.

Guess if renee’s surprise was good or bad…

Renee’s surprise was totally good. Look at the perfectly beautiful chocolates she created at the Admin team’s chocolate making adventure. Here Renee, Director of Supportive Housing, is seeing her creations for the first time coming out of the fridge. Beside her, Lisa Macdonald, Benefits, Payroll & People Experience Manager, is equally delighted by the Baby Yoda-shaped chocolates she is unveiling. The session was hosted by the charming owner of Bee Sweet Chocolates. These tasty gems were made with all natural ingredients including local honey. The session was a delicious success for all the Admin chocolate makers.
