Guess….
Guess what very special/sad occasion our CEO is heading to…
Here, Lorette Garrick is heading to the ‘Come and Go’ event at the GSS executive office on November 27th—an event held in honor of her pending retirement after 27 years of transformational leadership. The informal afternoon celebration with its lively mix of staff, community partners, funders, family and Board members reflected the rich interconnections behind the remarkable success of the agency over Lorette’s 27 years. The agency just won’t be the same without you, Lorette, but may your retirement be as joyful and fulfilling as your years with the George Spady Society!
Guess what this big smile is celebrating…
The balloons and glitter are from the first Balwin Place and Health Support Team staff appreciation event held this fall. At the event individuals were nominated for their special contributions to the staff, residents, and program. Here, smiling Nicole Bedard, Shift Supervisor, holds up her Going Above and Beyond Award for always consistently and proactively supporting client and program initiatives. Also celebrated at the event were Jennifer Wang, Case Manager, who received the Optimist Award for her continuous efforts to encourage positivity, hope, and humor at work, and Cassandra Delaney, Health Care Aide, who received the Teamwork Award for consistently lending a helping hand to everyone. Congratulations to each of you for stepping up in a big way for clients and staff at Balwin and HST!
Guess wHERE THIS santa is already checking the naughty and nice record…
This keen Santa is busy checking everyone out and warming up for the big day at Unity Manor. That bag over Santa’s shoulder looks promising so there must be a lot of ‘nice’ folks there. Thanks to resident, SB, for taking on this important role for everyone and for helping us get in the mood for the holiday season.
Merry Christmas, everyone!
