intranasal naloxone pilot

In 2021 Alberta Health provided funding to the Alberta Addiction Service Providers Association for the Intranasal Naloxone Pilot, led by the George Spady Society.  Pilot staff worked to distribute a total of 11,500 life-saving Intranasal Naloxone Kits to approximately 58 partners, accompanied by the training to successfully use these kits.  This report highlights the work of the team in charge of distribution as well as pilot outcomes.
